**Position Overview:**
The Patient Educator II will serve as the point person to connect all eligible patients to doulas as part of a doula navigation pilot. They will provide education to clinicians, care team members and patients to ensure an understanding of the doula’s role as well as how to request and retain the services of a doula from the prenatal to postpartum period. The Patient Educator II will also establish relationships with doulas and doula communities and serve as a liaison with the care tea.
The ideal individual would be a trained doula that has existing relationships with doula communities. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated ability to connect with patients, providers and community partners.
