Patient Care Technicians play a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is at Union Health. The 4EC team operates a 32-bed medical-surgical unit, providing care to patients with a range of medical illnesses through their hospitalist physician program. Additionally, they serve as a step-down stroke unit, offering continued care to patients until they are ready for discharge.
