ORIENTATION IS MON-FRI ON 8a-4:30p FOR 2-3 WEEKS
Half will be in Springfield at Mercy Medical Center
**Position Purpose**
Completes patient registrations/pre-registration processes following department procedures using identified technology systems. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.
**What you will do**
+ Performs complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions
+ Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits
+ Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are completed
+ Collects non-covered fees
