Pathology Team Lead
Job Description
The Pathology Team Lead is responsible for maximizing efficiency, productivity, and teamwork among Histotechnicians and Laboratory Assistants. This role involves providing daily communication, supervision, and direction in line with company philosophy, goals, and objectives. The Pathology Team Lead will attend team leader meetings and lead team meetings, ensuring productive use of time. Additionally, the role includes creating and updating work schedules, approving PTO requests, managing timesheets, and providing weekly updates on various performance metrics.
Responsibilities

+ Maximize team efficiency, productivity, and teamwork among Histotechnicians and Laboratory Assistants.

+ Provide daily communication, supervision, and direction.

+ Attend quarterly and monthly team leader meetings.

+ Lead approved team meetings at appropriate intervals.

+ Create and update dermpath staff work schedules.
