We are seeking a part-time Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our client's team at their cross dock facility in Mississauga, ON.
Shift: 4:00pm-9:00pm Thursday-Friday
Pay: $21.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Offloading trailers, putting pallets away in designated lanes within the cross dock, and reporting overage/shortage/damage freight
- Loading trailers (CP/CN 40' and 53' containers) ensuring proper weight distribution and loads are secured with load bars/straps
- Daily door check and dock check
- Coordinating shunting of trailers to and from doors and drop yard
- Recording pallet dimensions on BOL and recording total footage, ensuring accurate details
- Printing labels from TruckMate and applying labels to pallets
- Sweeping empty trucks/trailers and dock
- Pre and post trip inspections on equipment
- Reporting any maintenance/repairs needed to Team Lead
- Other duties as required
