Job Description
The Department of Film and Media Arts within the College of Visual and Performing Arts seeks Part-Time Instructor to teach FIL 250 M002 From Photography to Cinematography: Reimagining Auteur Cinema , a 3 credit hour course, during the Fall semester, 2026.
This course explores the cinematic image as a central vehicle for meaning in international cinema. Through close analysis of key films and directors, students examine how cinematography, narrative structure, and visual authorship interact to shape storytelling, atmosphere, and interpretation.
