Summary:
The Paramedic in the Emergency Department (ED) functions as a member of the ED team and is responsible for providing quality patient care to all Emergency Department patients across the lifespan (infants, toddlers, preschool, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics). The ED Paramedic must demonstrate the ability to understand communicate and react effectively and appropriately to the unique needs of neonatal pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients.
The Paramedic will work in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, ED Provider, LPN, and ED Tech. The Paramedic will work under the direct supervision of the Emergency Services Physician and general direction of the Emergency Services Director.
