Job Description

Location: MetroHealth Cleveland Heights Medical Center

Bi-weekly Hours:

Shift: Evenings; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

Join our Cleveland Heights Emergency Department!

Primary Patient Population:

  • Acutely ill pediatric to adult patients
  • Behavioral Health patient population

    • Primary skills utilized/learned:

  • Patient Assessments
  • Patient Triage
  • IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion
  • Time management, critical thinking, delegating

    • Personnel RN will work with:

  • Paramedics, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Providers

    • Number of beds on unit:

  • 20 beds

    • Awards or Recognitions the unit has received:

  • Acute Stroke Ready

    • Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
