Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Essential Functions Performs a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy, including neonatal, paediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients and the general patient population. Verifies that the assigned ambulance is mechanically sound and properly equipped at the start of a shift. Evaluates the nature and acuity of the illness or injury. Ensures that all medical and non-medical equipment is maintained, checked and serviced, including the onsite ambulance and emergency care equipment as per VMIH policies.
