**Medical Expert Team Paralegal Position**

The 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) is seeking a paralegal for the VCF Medical Expert Team. The September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) is a federally funded program that was established to compensate for physical harm or death caused by the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, or the debris removal efforts in the immediate aftermath. The VCF was established to provide a no-fault alternative to lawsuits and is administered by the U.S. Department of Justice. The VCF provides compensation to individuals (or a personal representative of a deceased individual) who have been diagnosed with a 9/11-related physical illness.

The VCF Medical Expert Team (the MET), is comprised of a team of Nurse Attorneys and Registered Nurses who are medical and legal Subject Matter Experts (SME). The MET SMEs provide medical expertise to the claim processing attorneys, appeal team, and...
