Our client is a real estate property management company specializing in affordable housing properties. They are currently seeking a Paralegal to assist our In-House legal counsel with managing case load for certain properties in our portfolio.

NOTE: They will only consider those applicants with tenant/landlord experience

Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following
Document preparation such as notices and petitions for housing court nonpayment and holdover proceedings, rent demands and NYCHA notices, processing of warrant requests (including processing affidavits of nonmilitary status and affidavits of default and scheduling evictions.
Coordinating with process servers, marshals and moving companies.
Providing support and assistance to staff attorneys.
Interfacing with outside counsel.
Case file and attorney calendar management.
Data entry, scanning, and copying.
