Provides specialized consultative services to children and families where a child has a serious illness that may progress to end-of-life. Provides social, emotional, spiritual, and logistical care for the child with a potentially life-limiting illness and their family. Provides multidisciplinary clinical collaboration for Palliative Care (PC), Seattle Children's health providers, and community health providers. Works collaboratively with PC team members to develop program goals, processes, services, and quality improvement indicators and projects.

Provides education and training in the philosophy and elements of palliative care to Seattle Children's and external health professionals. Works in collaboration with PC medical providers to integrate the services of community palliative care and hospice providers with the PC service in support of care coordination and continuity for patients and families.
