Department: Facilities Management - Facilities Services
General Requirements:
High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. Minimum of four years journeyperson level painting experience or experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Provides skilled services as a painter. Works under general direction in painting and repairing for painting both interiors and exteriors of facilities assigned.
Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):
Finishing; plastering; painting with brush, roller, or spray equipment. Plastering includes new and patch work. Finishing includes taping and floating of sheetrock. Application of acoustical material to ceilings and refi...
