**Painter (1st shift)**

**- Location:** Taneytown, MD 21787
**- Work schedule:** Monday to Friday, **1st shift:** 6:30 am to 3 pm
**- Pay rate:** $21 per hour
**- Contract:** W2 under staffing supplier; with a 6-month duration (temp to hire)

**Job Summary**

Preps, mixes, and sprays paint on products/components per procedures. Involves working near moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to fumes, vibrations, and airborne particles.

**Key Responsibilities**


+ **Prep & Paint:** Clean, mask, and de-rust parts. Mix multi-part paint systems and use sprayers for applications and touch-ups.
+ **Safety & 6S:** Adhere to all safety rules, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean workplace.
+ **Quality & Support:** Work efficiently with minimal supervision, participate in continuous improvement, and assist in assembly/hydro testing as needed.
