Job Description
Schedule: M-F, 8 hour shift between 8am to 6pm
Role Summary:
The Specialty Drug Program Administrator serves as a key liaison between members, healthcare providers, and prescription assistance programs. This role focuses on helping patients access specialty medications at low or no cost by coordinating applications, supporting documentation, and insurance processes. The administrator works closely with physicians, manufacturers, PBMs, and pharmacies to ensure approvals are secured and medications are delivered without delays.
What Youβll Do:
+ Educate and guide patients on available prescription assistance and alternate funding programs
+ Coordinate outreach with patients and physicians to complete and submit assistance applications
+ Manage documentation, track eligibility, and follow up on approvals
