Description

• FTTH, FTTC, FTTB, FTTP, FTTx - Fiber to the Home, Fiber to the Cell Site, Fiber to the Premise, Fiber to the X (variable) Responsible for reviewing and evaluating Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction projects, including: using the plan design against new build, span and drop replacements (if needed), risers, aerial installations, bonding and grounding of the strand (messenger), proper installation of any fiber-optic cable, splice cases and cabinets, splitters and XWDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing), underground installations (bores, vaults, and trenches) and MDU lockbox replacements. • Perform quality checks on ongoing projects. Answer questions the contractors may have regarding design prints. • • Must have a working knowledge of MDU Design and Construction Practices. • Must be able to read, and interpret engineering drawings to include aerial cable placement, underground cable placement and splicing procedures. • Must have a good understanding of Right-Of-W...
