Job Description

your responsibilities will include:

  • Ability to lead a team to achieve tasks in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the standards of infection control are followed at all times
  • Rostering & allocating team members
  • Transporting patient to and from the peri-operative suite, assisting within the operating theatre as delegated by the nursing team
  • Providing assistance with patient manual handling, ensuring patient trolleys/ beds are available in recovery at a timely manner
  • Undertake cleaning of the operating theatre between cases as per facility protocols
  • Restocking and unpacking as delegated and waste removal from peri-operative suite
  • Equipment manage and knowledge of how much is needed
