Job Description:

This position focuses on precision optical testing and alignment. The candidate will support the assembly, integration, testing, and qualification of an optical metrology system, as well as the testing and optimization of precision optical systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Solid understanding of geometrical optics

Experience analyzing data using standard tools (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, Python)

Ability to learn technical procedures quickly and contribute to workflow improvements

Comfortable working in a research environment with evolving requirements and open-ended problem solving

Self-directed; able to work effectively with limited on-site supervision

Demonstrated safe-handling practices for sensitive optical components
