About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist with a sub‑specialty interest to join our busy, innovative and close‑knit team delivering Ophthalmology care to the community in TeTaiTokerau. Cataract surgery is a core component of the services we provide. The successful candidate will also contribute to the consultant on‑call roster (1:5).

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive ophthalmology care, including cataract surgery.
• Participate in the consultant on‑call roster on a 1:5 rotation.

Qualifications

• Specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of NewZealand (MCNZ) in an Ophthalmology vocational scope of practice.
