Under general supervision, provides assistance to Ophthalmologists, Optometrists and nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care, ensuring smooth work and patient flow within the department.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Assists in scheduling of appointments, tests, treatments and/or surgeries. Is familiar with insurance benefits
+ Escorts patients from reception area to exam room and prepares them for exam and/or treatment
