Operations Manager (Conference and Events) – Newmarket & Huntingdon Racecourses

We are seeking an Operations Manager with a hospitality background to manage the Conference & Events operation at Newmarket Racecourses and support Huntingdon Racecourse.

Key role: deliver outstanding hospitality at renowned horse racing venues.

Responsibilities

• Manage the allocated causal team members to set up and break down meeting rooms and deliver live conference and events
• Review the weekly payroll and assist management of the variable payroll to achieve financial targets while meeting operational needs
• Act as a central point of contact for C&E operational queries
• Attend all regular meetings and briefings to ensure regular communication with all stakeholders
• Develop a good working relationship with the Hospitality team at Newmarket
