Job Description

Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment such as machining, processing, assembly, or packaging. They operate machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to produce items according to production specifications, schedules, volume, cost, and waste targets, and quality standards. They also move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods, monitor output quality to spot and discard or re-manufacture faulty products, and maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.

Qualified individuals are considered Para-Professionals (S2) and require basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may need vocational or technical education.
