Position Summary/Description:
The University of North Carolinaβs Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting a tenure track or variable track Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist with expertise in critical care obstetrics to provide inpatient and outpatient care to high-risk obstetric patients, including those requiring intensive care management. This is a unique opportunity to serve as the clinical and academic leader of Critical Care MFM at UNC , with responsibilities extending well beyond direct ICU service. The successful candidate will be expected to: (1) provide consultative and co-management critical care services for pregnant and postpartum patients; (2) lead the development and implementation of evidence-based critical care protocols for obstetric patients; (3) build and direct a joint MFM -Critical Care fellowship program in collaboratio...
