Job Summary On-Call Biologist performs biological surveys and monitoring in the field on an as-needed basis. The role may include some desktop responsibilities depending on needs, but is primarily field‐based. Essential Job Functions Perform special status plant and wildlife surveys, nesting bird surveys, vernal pool surveys, and habitat assessments. Conduct biological monitoring during construction activities to ensure resource protection measures are implemented. Work primarily in the field, capable of long days, single‐ and multi‐day assignments throughout the year. Perform botanical surveys for qualified applicants (botanical experience is a plus). Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings. Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's and Eocene Environmental's culture of safety and employee ownership.
