Marine Spill Response Corporation ( MSRC) is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Oil Spill Responder in Long Beach, CA. This is a full-time, onsite position reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. As an Oil Spill Responder, you will be a vital team member supporting our mission to keep coastal waters clean by mitigating oil spills.

Responsibilities:
 
+ + Participate in deployment, retrieval, cleaning, and storage of oil boom and sorbent materials, and assist in oil spill clean-up activities. 

+ Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and inspections on response equipment, including maintenance and safety reports.

+ Ability to learn and operate small boats including use of navigation and radar equipment.

+ Ability to adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

+ Complete required administrative responsibilities properly and timely.
