Detailed Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Operations for operational and administrative issues and coordination of program services including the development, delivery and evaluation of services outcomes; and to the Professional Practice Leader, Occupational Therapy for professional and practice issues. Duties include assessing, planning implementing and monitoring occupational therapy treatment programs, communicating with patients/families, other healthcare givers and the community, maintaining patient records and statistical data, delegating components of treatment to assistants and Mental Health Care Worker, facilitating student learning, preparing and delivering presentations, attending Mental Health Addictions departmental and hospital-wide in-services and educational programs and assisting with departmental maintenance and quality management.
