Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary Team at the Regional Rangatahi inpatient Service. (RRAIS). Our service treats young people that cannot safely or adequately be provided in a community setting and who require intensive treatment, investigation or observation (24 hours per day).

Duties will include:

  • Day to day running of Therapeutic Day Programme alongside wider team.Β 
  • Attendance and participation within MDT and wider team.
  • Articulates, negotiates and demonstrates the role and functions of an occupational therapist in the team.
  • Provides appropriate, effective occupational therapy services for clients which facilitate and enable increased functioning incorporating the four domains of Te Whare Tapa Wha.Β 
  • Develops tools and establishes groups for client skill development.
  • Utilises a broad range of knowledge and experience for the benefit of clients.
