Join CHEO's Children's Treatment Centre as an Occupational Therapist focusing on preschool-aged kids. Deliver key interventions for children with developmental disabilities at Smyth and Kanata locations.

This role requires providing clinical services, assessments, and consultations for children facing physical and developmental challenges. You'll work collaboratively with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to create effective care programs. In addition, you will supervise students, facilitate support groups, and stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and intervene for developmental disabilities in children
• Prescribe orthotics and mobility devices with multidisciplinary teams
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders for patient care
• Facilitate education sessions for families and children
• Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives
