OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Ohio In-House Call Coverage
Assignment Details/Requirements:
Board Certified OB/GYN
Ongoing coverage due to hospitalist shortage (5-10 FTE need)
Coverage at: 2 hospitals in need of coverage
In-house hospitalist coverage for both OB and GYN services
PRN scheduling need for approximately 5-10 shifts per month
Shift options include: 7a-5p weekdays, 5p-7a weeknights, 7a-7p weekends
Primarily nights and weekends with some daytime coverage
Responsibilities include: OB and GYN inpatient coverage, OBED coverage, ED backup for GYN service, Resident supervision
Required procedures: D&E, D&C, C-sections, GYN service procedures / ED transfers
Support staff per shift includes: 3 OB/GYN physicians, 1 MFM physician, 2-3 CNMs, 2 APPs, Residents and fellows
High-risk OB coverage available with MFM onsite during the day and on call overnight
NICU Level III
Annual deliveries: 5,500
EMR: EPIC
