New job for an Outpatient Community Mental Health Psychiatrist, you will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose a range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, which primarily include prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications and overseeing medication management.
Your role involves active collaboration with a multidisciplinary team-including social workers, therapists, and primary care providers-to ensure holistic, coordinated care for patients in the community. In addition to clinical duties, you will maintain accurate, confidential medical records and document all patient interactions and progress in a timely manner.
You must also provide crisis intervention, educate patients and their families about conditions and treatment options, and stay updated on the latest psychiatric research and advancements.
