Qualification
- Matric qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology / Computer Science or related
- Nutanix certification (NCP or equivalent) advantageous
- VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V certification advantageous
- Valid drivers license (advantageous)
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Virtualisation technologies , including:
- Nutanix (AHV)
- VMware ESXi
- Strong background in general systems administration
- Solid experience with:
- Backup technologies (e.g. Veeam or equivalent)
- Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Linux operating systems
- General maintenance for the software upgrades on the servers and storage during scheduled downtime
