Join UChicago Medicine as a Nursing Support Assistant to serve on our General Medicine Unit!

On CCD 9East we provide care for a population of medical multispecialty patients alongside hospitalists and other advanced practice providers. We are a 28-bed telemetry unit that cares for patients during their acute needs while anticipating their transition to home, sub-acute rehab, or another skilled facility. By joining our team you’ll experience a wide variety of patients that will keep you learning, engaged, and excited about the work you do.

Job Summary

Performs activities which support the daily functions and operations of a patient care unit and the healthcare team. Provides constant observation and documentation of activity of assigned patient. Works under the direction of the Registered Nurse in the assigned area.
