Job Description
**Hours: 36 hours/week**
**Shift: 11am-11pm or 3am -3pm available**
**Every 3rd weekend and rotating holiday schedule required**
**Unable to accommodate students at this time**
**Emergency Department (ED)** is a 54- bed department within York Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Accredited Center of Excellence. In addition to the 54 treatment spaces, we have a 3-bed trauma bay and secure unit for behavioral health patients.
**General Summary**
Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Takes patient vital signs, assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, feeding, toileting, etc.), inventories and replenishes supplies and equipment, and performs special assigned and or delegated duties such as performing EKGs, Point-of-Care testing, phlebotomy and splinting.
