Nurse Practitioner - Infusion Department Full Time Day (37.5)

Nurse practitioners (NP) are dedicated to providing quality, professional, cost-effective health care to all patients at NYULH - Suffolk. NPs provide services as a licensed independent practitioner (LIP) collaborating with a licensed physician fulfilling a broad range of medical services that would otherwise be provided by the physician. A NP shall be permitted to provide any service within his/her scope of training/skills outlined in the collaborative agreement between the NP and the collaborating physician that has been approved by the Credentials Committee. NPs may provide care for all patients throughout the hospital as permitted by their certification and licensure. NPs work collaboratively with the patient's physicians, assisting in providing high-quality care, and a well-planned, timely discharge.
