The Nurse Educator assesses, identifies, implements, co-ordinates and evaluates departmental nursing staffs' and external parties in continuing education, training and development plans to ensure provision of competent and quality patient care but not be limited to the following:-
Conducts nursing staff orientation and induction, clinical education / training, in-service education, personal and professional growth. Serves as resource person in education/nursing training matters and clinical issues to provide high quality standard of care. Plans and provides direct clinical supervision for junior staff and care givers. Facilitates the clinical learning environment of nurses and caregivers to improve nursing their learning experiences.
