Position Summary

: Under direct supervision, provides personal and homemaking services to ill, convalescing, elderly, and disabled persons in the patients' home.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:1.Provides personal care of a patient, including bathing, grooming/hygiene, and toileting.2.Takes and records daily vital signs. Reports all vital signs that are outside the normal range.3.Assists patients with positioning/turning, transfers, catheter care, and range of motion exercises. Required:⦁High school diploma or equivalent.⦁Successful completion of a written home health/hospice competency test and the clinical skills testing. ⦁Certification as Home Health Aide (CHHA).⦁State of Michigan CNA Certification⦁Current state driver’s license, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle and be a responsible driver.Preferred: ⦁Six months of experience with a variety of patients.Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans
