Job Summary: Serves as a full-time Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider to provide care to patients requiring Inpatient Psychiatric Services. Provides Psychiatric care to patients on the Inpatient Psychiatric Units, and work as NP in Emergency Department as well as inpatient units. Inpatient responsibilities include providing expert level clinical care and coordination of care via a full range of services that will improve quality of patient care delivered. Observes and evaluates patients, orders appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies, arranges for referrals, testing, consultation, and therapeutic services and maintains outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians and all members of the health care team.
