About the Role
The Ophthalmology Department is accredited by RANZCO for training Ophthalmologists and is comprised of an outpatient department and specialist clinics providing emergency, tertiary, secondary and primary eye care to the people of Canterbury/West Coast, and the South Island.
About you
* You will have completed your first two post graduate years * Previous experience in Ophthalmology at a Registrar level would be advantageous. * Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health. * A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups. * You must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
