SUMMARY:
- POSITION INFO:
Job Overview: To source and purchase terrestrial cable to be dismantled and recycled. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate valuation of stock.
- Determine the value of the stock by trying to best identify the various
materials which make up the cable. - Purchasing of cable through auction and tenders.
- Stay informed regarding upcoming auctions selling terrestrial cable.
- Obtain a maximum mandate bid from the Directors.
- Bid on the cable at auction, without exceeding the maximum
mandated bid. - Stay informed regarding tenders available for terrestrial cable.
- Obtain a mandate from the Operations Director to purchase the cable.
- Maintain positive relationships with service providers.
