The Department of Neurology at The University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson in collaboration with Banner University Medicine Tucsonis seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant to be part of a dynamic team providing inpatient care in the Neurocritical Care Unit at Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMCT). BUMCT is a Joint Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient and acute care experience, but the position is open to those without such experience as on-the-job training is encouraged and expected. Prior neuroscience or critical care background and exposure are preferred as are candidates who appreciate a team-based approach to caring for patients requiring critical care.
