The Network Leakage Technician (Days) plays a vital role in supporting water network performance by helping to reduce leakage and meet regulatory, customer, and efficiency targets. Reporting to the Leakage Team Leader, the position focuses on delivering against the Distribution Operations Maintenance Strategy (DOMS) through both proactive and reactive leakage detection. Acting as a “leakage champion,” the technician analyses flow and pressure data to identify potential issues and applies appropriate detection methods such as correlating, sounding, step testing, and data logging.
