Job Description
**Job Description**
The Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process, supervision of clinical practice, research involvement, consultative services, inter and intradepartmental liaison, education, leadership, and patient care management across the health care continuum from preventative, acute care through discharge. A Nurse Practitionerβs practice incorporates both independent decision-making abilities and collaboration with the board certified/eligible physician to provide expert care to the patients.
+ Schedule includes both 8-Hour Day Shift and Night Shift (16-Hours).
+ Responsible to the medical director and the chief nursing officer (CNO) and functions as an integral part of the medical team.
+ Practices under the Board of Registered Nursing California code of regulations, Title 16, Article 8, Section 1480-1485, utilizing the Nurse Practitioner Standardized Procedures. These are developed in a collabor...
