+ JOB REQUIREMENTS
+ Education
+ A Masterβs degree in nursing is required. Licensed by Arkansas State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Certification by national certifying body with prescriptive privileges. Advanced training as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner required.
+ Experience
+ 3 yearsβ experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care (level 3 or higher) is desired.
+ Physical

+ JOB SUMMARY
+ Provide care for well term newborns as well as premature and sick newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), mother/baby unit, emergency room, delivery room, or specialty clinic. The NNP will work under the direction of the neonatologist and/or pediatrician while assuming responsibility for their patients, exercising judgment when necessary to assess, diagnose, and initiate medical procedures.
