Primary Responsibilities
North Country Public Radio is seeking a creative, ambitious, and talented reporter to join our award-winning, nationally recognized news team. This position is based at NCPR’s headquarters in the St. Lawrence Valley, in Canton, New York. You will be joining a hardworking news team working in a geographically diverse region, from rolling hills and farmland to the St. Lawrence River and Thousand Islands, to the Adirondack Mountains, the Tug Hill Plateau, and Akwesasne Mohawk territory.
We tell the stories of the people who live in our region in eye- and ear-catching ways, challenging our assumptions and nurturing our curiosity. We dig deep and seek out the voices of people who haven’t been heard from a range of backgrounds. Our news team is a supportive and creative group of people who nurture each other.
