Summary This position is in San Antonio, Texas, and part of the South Texas Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (STXVAHCS) Environmental Management Service (EMS). The primary purpose of this position is transporting EMS supplies and equipment, and laundry/linen to and from Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital and servicing various Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) that are part of the STVAHCS. Responsibilities Major Duties: Operate vehicles such as shuttle carts/golf carts, vans, pickup trucks, panel/box trucks, flatbed trucks, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, and sports utility vehicles which typically have an approximate gross vehicle weight of up to 4500 kilograms (10,000 pounds). Loading and unloading from vehicles to provide timely delivery of linen, supplies and equipment directly to users or to storage areas.
