Description
A. T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Patient Services Advocate on the St. Louis, Missouri campus. This position reports to the Clinical Operations Manager. The Patient Services Advocate is responsible for completing the patient registration process for dental services by collecting demographic information, determining appropriate fees and collection of payment. This position will also function as a liaison between dental students and patients.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Interview patients to document necessary demographic information and maintain appropriate information in patientsβ chart as needed.
+ Review appropriate policies and regulations such as HIPAA with the patients.
+ For uninsured/self pay patients, determine f...
