Job Description
Join a prestigious firm as a DB2 Developer in Montreal, QC, with a 3-day onsite work schedule. This 12-month contract focuses on advanced DB2 UDB skills paired with Linux Scripting expertise.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience developing SQL queries, scripts, and procedures using DB2 UDB. Proficiency in Python and PERL is essential, as well as strong analytical skills to interpret and fulfill business requirements. You’ll thrive in a collaborative setting, where managing multiple priorities and ensuring accuracy is key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write and optimize complex data retrieval queries and procedures
• Utilize Linux Shell for scripting and automation
• Interpret business needs to draft technical design documents
• Work with Autosys for scheduling tasks
• Support the team with a strong desire to learn the domain
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 7 years experience in DB2 UDB
