Mining Engineer Region: Gauteng Seniority Level: Management Department: Operations Duties and Responsibilities Purpose: The Mining Engineer ('ME') acts as mining expert within a Project Team to create mine designs, schedules and reports as per client and/or supervisors' requirements. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and oversee designs, plans and schedules for mining operations. Consult with clients, professionals and government officials. Discuss work in progress and consult with contractors, engineers, geologists and surveyors. Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met and maintained. Study ways to improve mining.
