Job Description

Position Description

The Electronics Technician II reports to the Site Manager. Primary duties include but not limited to:

  • Direct and/or perform comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance activities to simulation equipment.
  • Performs maintenance tasks such as repairs of complex electronic equipment, replacing components and wiring circuits, and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of simulator computer/operating systems and possess the abilities to competently and independently function/operate in a computer rich environment.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of computer network architecture.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the interrelationship of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and test equipment.
