Role Overview

As a Security Officer, you will:
Ensure site safety and security to protect Defence personnel, visitors and property.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and monitor designated areas on foot or by vehicle, ensuring compliance with security protocols.


• Control access by checking credentials, issuing passes and escorting visitors as required.


• Perform thorough searches of vehicles, baggage and personnel.


• Respond to incidents by identifying risks, managing breaches and escalating where necessary.


• Assist employees and visitors, providing professional and courteous support on‑site.


• Operate CCTV, alarms and communication devices and manage traffic and parking.


• Maintain security logs and complete detailed incident reports.
